What It Is
A two-building complex dedicated to research, development, design, and production of high performance
aerospace-grade fasteners for assembly of 21st century commercial and military
aircraft. The new Camcar® Aerospace facility is an operation of Acument Global Technologies.

Why Being Launched
To address a global shortage of aerospace-grade threaded fasteners for aircraft production.
Camcar Aerospace brings a heritage of 65 years of experience in fastening and assembly
solutions for the full range of materials used on modern aircraft.

510 and 516 18th Avenue, Rockford, Ill.

Size
Two adjoining buildings – one 37,732 square feet, the other 11,236 square feet.

Startup Products
High-strength, heat-resistant A286 stainless steel threaded fasteners for use in hundreds of
applications, including inconel, wasp alloy, carbon fiber composites, and other materials used on
today’s aircraft. Sizes of these specialty flathead screws range from 3/16th to 1”.

Future Products
Acument’s proprietary TORX PLUS® Drive System will be a key joining system in future aircraft,
allowing manufacturers to achieve and retain required clamp loads in structural applications.
Camcar Aerospace will design and produce a full complement of threaded fastening systems
using this patented drive system.
